Ocean of Hope
Ocean of Hope, presented at the Port of Halifax, tells the story of Pier 21, where many ships carrying European passengers once docked.
From the late 1920s to the early 1970s, thousands of immigrants and refugees (amid the turmoil of World War II) set sail for Canada. The dramas and hopes of these characters, portrayed by a multitude of actors, are drawn from various sources, including many personal journals.
